### **Position:** Associate Project Engineer

### **Eligibility Criteria:**

- **Qualification:** BE, B.Tech/ME, M.Tech (Mechanical/Automotive)

- **Batch:** 2024 Passouts

- **Academic Requirement:** Must have an aggregate of 75% and above (10th, 12th or Diploma, UG & PG)

- **Experience:** 0-1 year

- **Work Location:** Chennai

### **Job Description:**

- **Cost Tracking & Reporting:** Track and report cost status from the program's start to launch, including cost trade-off discussions with cross-functional teams.

- **Supplier Coordination:** Collaborate with suppliers and the cost estimation team to obtain quotes and estimates for engineering changes.

- **Negotiation:** Engage in negotiations with suppliers regarding material and tooling costs, as well as engineering design and testing costs throughout the program.

### **Required Domain Knowledge:**

- **Communication Skills:** Excellent communication skills are a must.

- **Mathematical & Analytical Skills:** Strong abilities in these areas are required.

- **MS Office Proficiency:** Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

- **Automotive Systems Knowledge:** Basic understanding of automotive systems is essential.

- **CAD Tool Knowledge:** Familiarity with CAD tools is an added advantage.

### **Additional Note:**

- **Commitment:** Selected candidates must commit to a service period of 2.5 years.
