Eligibility Criteria for the Data Scientist Role at Myntra

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Job Location: Bangalore.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience in data science or machine learning.
  • Skills Required: Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Salary: Up to ₹6.5 LPA (Expected).

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist at Myntra, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing Machine Learning Models: Work on data science and machine learning models to enhance Myntra’s Storefront, Supply Chain, and other business areas.
  • Understanding Machine Learning Lifecycle: Be familiar with model development, deployment, and optimization.
  • Expertise in AI Fields: Apply knowledge in key areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Optimization.
  • Collaboration with Business Teams: Work closely with Product and Business teams to translate business problems into machine learning models.
  • Integration with Platforms & Engineering Teams: Ensure seamless deployment and integration of machine learning models into Myntra’s systems.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Collaborate with Data Platforms teams to collect, clean, and analyze data for model training and evaluation.

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and efficient processing of large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
  • Advanced Education (Preferred):
    • Candidates with M.Tech, MS by Research, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or Mathematics are preferred.
    • Authored publications in the field of AI/ML are an added advantage.
  • Additional Skills:
    • NLP (Natural Language Processing): Develop models that can understand and generate human language.
    • Computer Vision: Work on image and video processing models for object identification and classification.
    • DevOps for Machine Learning: Familiarity with deployment and model management in production environments.
    • Large Language Models (LLM) & Generative AI (GenAI): Knowledge of LLM, prompt engineering, model evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
    • Industry Domain Knowledge: Understanding of business needs and data interpretation within specific industries.
    • Ethical AI & Data Science: Awareness of privacy, bias, and fairness in AI solutions.
    • Team Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to work efficiently with engineers, product managers, and designers.
